Eileen Bristow
MA(Health Studies), DipCOT., HPCR
Eileen Bristow is responsible for leading a health care team of thirty seven staff, including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Sign Language Tutor, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Audiologist, Art Therapist and Clinical Psychologist.
Eileen is a qualified Occupational Therapist with over twenty five years experience of working in both a health and social care environment with both children and young people with a range of physical, psychological and developmental conditions.
Health care staff at St Mary's are committed to ensuring that the therapy and medical care provided at St Mary's is up to date and evidence based.
All of the Health staff benefit from attending internal and external post graduate training programmes.
Eileen is also responsible for providing a range of therapy outreach and inreach services to enable local schools and colleges to access therapy support for children and young people with special needs. Training Seminars are also available by request on a range of special needs topics including, Speech and Language Impairment and Sensory Integration.
