Gail Pilling
BA(Hons) MA, C(Ed)Psychol, RegMRCSLT PGCE
Gail Pilling is the new Chief Executive of St Mary's Wrestwood Trust. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge gained from her training and her experience as a specialist educational psychologist (communication & hearing impairment); Ofsted inspector (SEN); and Headteacher / Director of residential and day schools in both the maintained and non-maintained sector, specialising in communication difficulties, including ASD. Ms Pilling has a master's degree in management and is also a qualified speech and language therapist.
As Chief Executive, Gail Pilling is responsible for the Wrestwood Trust. She has an executive team, the Senior Leadership Group to support her with her many strategic tasks.

The Governing Body also works closely with the CEO, the SLG and others at the Trust to ensure that St Mary's Wrestwood continues to be a very special place, meeting the needs of very special children and keeping St Mary's Wrestwood in the vanguard for specialist educational provision, residential care and therapeutic and health support.

At St Mary's Wrestwood we have a skilled and professional team that is able to deliver high quality, specialist education and support to the children and young people at the school and college.
Gail Pilling has taken over the role of CEO from David Cassar who retired in the summer of 2009 after many successful years in his dual role of CEO/Principal. Ms Pilling hopes to build on David Cassar's work providing the right balance of stability and innovation that will ensure that St Mary's Wrestwood remains ‘a very special place'.
